Our screening process does not allow you to pull a credit report, credit score, or background check with an ITIN number. This is very standard that the Credit Bureaus will not pass this information to owners and managers, although they may have information on file.
Here are recommendations on ways to screen or provide additional guarantee on a prospective tenant with an ITIN number:
- Ask for a co-signer
- Request letters from their bank and/or credit card companies
- Request additional security deposit
- Legal documents such as a valid student visa, I-20, passport, and drivers license.
