Hemlane allows tenants to open and request maintenance and repair needs directly from their Hemlane account. When a property has more than one tenant, Hemlane allows you to choose how you would like other tenants at the property to view the maintenance request as well.
How are other users added to a maintenance request?
When a user opens a new maintenance request they will be asked at the time of creation if they would like to include other users. Hemlane also allows you to add in others at any time under the Participants area of the maintenance request.
Who can I add to the maintenance request?
If the address in question is a unit, then you are able to add in other tenants only from that unit. If the address is at a property level, any tenants within that property can be added.
How do I add or delete a user on the maintenance request?
- To add a new user, click the pencil icon to add another user.
- To remove a user, click the red trash can icon next to the user’s name.
