Customers on our Complete package have a much more hands off experience, as we assign repair requests to local service professionals in our third party network. The landlord or manager does not need to have existing relationships with service professionals, such as handymen, plumbers, etc.
When do you recommend using the Third Party Network?
If you're a customer with one of the following situations, then we recommend upgrading to Complete and using our network of service professionals:
- You do not currently have local service professionals for tenant requests, such as a plumbing problem or pest control.
- You have a list of service professionals, but it is not extensive and comprehensive. There may be a job outside of their expertise.
- You have a list of service professionals, but you're not sure if they work emergency hours.
- You want someone to actually work through thresholds and pricing with service professionals.
What is the Third Party Network?
The Third Party Network is a list of local companies spanning many of the different essential trades such as handiwork, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, HVAC (heating and cooling), etc.
How are Third Party Service Professionals sourced?
They are sourced in multiple ways from Referral platforms to agent and customer recommendations. They do NOT have any contracts with Hemlane to provide discounted prices for services, nor do we receive any type of referral fees or bonuses. Our sole purpose is to find the best companies in your area that have been highly rated across multiple platforms and are looking to provide an excellent product and customer experience.
How does Hemlane ensure quality?
We ask every user (from landlords to tenants) to rate the service professional once the job is complete (we rate them too)! This helps us to build confidence in their performance and decide if we should continue working with them.
