Within two business days of entering your bank account information into Hemlane, two small deposits will be sent to your bank account. Each deposit will be less than $1.00. You will need to locate these amounts in your bank statement and enter them into Hemlane to confirm you are the account holder.
Step 1: Check Your Bank Statement
Visit your bank’s online portal within 1 to 2 business days and look for two deposits labeled HEMLANE MICRO DEPOSITS. Please note that these two amounts will eventually reverse back to zero after verification is complete.
Step 2: Enter the Amounts in Hemlane
Log back into Hemlane and navigate to your Banks and Cards tab. You will see a Verify button next to the account that needs to be verified. Click that button and enter the two micro deposit amounts exactly as they appear in your bank statement.
Once verified, your bank account status will show as “Ready” and will be able to send and receive payments.
Common Questions
Do I get to keep the micro deposit amounts?
No. Hemlane follows the same process as other platforms and reverses the two micro deposits after they are confirmed. You will see the amounts reversed in your bank account within a couple of days after verification is complete.
What if the amounts from my bank statement are not being recognized in Hemlane?
Please send a screenshot of your bank statement to support@hemlane.com showing your bank account number (last 4 digits) and the two micro deposit line items. Without this information, our team is unable to verify your bank account on our end.
