Hemlane is a web-based SaaS (software as a service) platform that runs in a web browser.
If you are experiencing any technical difficulties with Hemlane, please confirm your computer meets the minimum hardware requirements for your operating system (Windows or Mac OS X). You can visit Microsoft or Apple's websites for these requirements. The engineering team tests our platform on the latest, stable browser releases. Please read the list below for supported browsers.
What browsers are supported and tested?
- Google Chrome: latest two versions
- Mozilla Firefox: latest two versions
- Apple Safari: latest two version
We're huge fans of Google Chrome and recommend it for the best performance
What browser configurations do I need?
- Cookies must be enabled
- localStorage must be enabled
- TLS v1.0 or above
But, what about Internet Explorer?
As of September 5, 2017, Hemlane will no longer support Internet Explorer 11 (IE11).
Microsoft, the makers of the Internet Explorer, want to migrate users to their new browser "edge". As a result, IE11 and previous versions of the browser, have not continued to receive the support required to keep pace with the development of newer web technologies.
We do not expect IE11 to improve in the future, as Microsoft will want their users on their new browser "edge." We have made the conscious decision to refrain from developing to support this browser, and these enables use to provide users with an experience for the future.
While we recommend moving to one of the supported browsers listed above as soon as possible, the following are the implications of continued use of Internet Explorer 11 (or earlier versions):
- Hemlane will no longer test for or resolve bugs experienced in Internet Explorer.
- For bugs or technical issues reported to our support team related to this browser, users will be directed to make use of an alternate, supported browser.
