Customers on Hemlane's Complete package have a much more hands-off maintenance experience. Repair requests are assigned to local service professionals in our third-party network, meaning the landlord or manager does not need to have existing relationships with service professionals such as handymen, plumbers, or electricians.
When Do We Recommend Using the Third Party Network?
If any of the following situations apply to you, we recommend upgrading to Complete and taking advantage of our network:
- You do not currently have local service professionals for tenant requests such as plumbing issues or pest control.
- You have a list of service professionals, but it is not comprehensive enough to cover every type of job that may come up.
- You have a list of service professionals, but are unsure whether they are available for emergency work.
- You want someone to actively work through thresholds and pricing with service professionals on your behalf.
What Is the Third Party Network?
The Third Party Network is a curated list of local companies spanning many essential trades including handywork, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, HVAC, and more.
How Are Third Party Service Professionals Sourced?
Service professionals are sourced through multiple channels including referral platforms and recommendations from agents and customers. They do not have any contracts with Hemlane to provide discounted pricing, and Hemlane does not receive any referral fees or bonuses. Our sole focus is finding the highest-rated companies in your area that are committed to delivering an excellent experience.
How Does Hemlane Ensure Quality?
After every completed job, we ask all parties including landlords and tenants to rate the service professional. Our team also provides our own rating. This feedback helps us build confidence in their performance and determine whether we should continue working with them.
