Hemlane makes it easy to manage both single-family rentals and multi-unit properties such as apartments, condos, duplexes, and multi-family buildings. You can add multiple units under a single property, allowing you to track and manage each unit individually while still viewing and exporting reports at both the property and unit level.
Adding a New Property (Single Family or Multi-Unit)
Step 1: Click into the Properties tab on the left-hand main menu.
Step 2: Click the [+Add a property] button in the upper right corner.
Step 3: Select “Add a new property” or “Add a new unit for an existing property,” select your property type, fill in your address, and click Continue.
Please note that if you are not the owner of the property, you can select “No” when prompted and assign a team member as the appropriate owner from the Your Team tab.
Hemlane also allows you to manually add your address if it is not available to select through Google Maps.
Step 4: Add or skip the addition of any team members and service providers, and select your package type.
Step 5: Select your desired service add-ons and click Save and Finish.
