Hemlane gives you the ability to create, edit, and delete portfolios to better manage your rental properties. A portfolio in Hemlane is a way to group properties together, making it easier to organize, filter, and track specific sets of properties within your account. This feature is especially useful for landlords, property managers, or owners who oversee multiple rentals and want to sort them by location, ownership, property type, or management group.
How to create a new portfolio:
Step 1: Click into your Properties tab from your left side panel
Step 2: Select the "Portfolios" to the left of the [Add Property] button
Step 3: Select the [+ New Portfolio] button in the upper right-hand corner of your screen
Step 4: In the pop-up window, provide a name for your portfolio, select which properties will be added and click [Save] to save your changes
How to edit or delete a portfolio:
Step 1: Click into your Properties tab from your left side panel
Step 2: Select the "Portfolios" to the left of the [Add Property] button
Step 3: Click "View" on the portfolio you'd like to edit
Step 4: Choose between applying changes with "Edit" or removing the portfolio with "Delete"
