Hemlane automatically sends payment reminders and notifications for upcoming payment requests such as rent, removing this administrative burden from owners and managers. Reminder emails are sent for online payment requests only.
Upcoming Payment Reminders
Reminder emails are sent at the following intervals:
- 5 days before the due date
- 1 day before the due date
Please note that if a tenant has scheduled automatic payments, only one reminder will be sent, 1 day before the due date, rather than both reminders.
Late Payment Reminders
When a payment is outstanding, Hemlane will also send late payment notices at the following intervals:
- 1 day after the due date
- Every Monday thereafter until the balance is paid
