If a tenant or other party pays outside of Hemlane on a regular basis, such as by cash, Venmo, money order, or any other method, you can set up a recurring offline recording to track that income within Hemlane. This keeps your financial records complete and up to date regardless of how the payment is made.
To Record a Recurring Payment Made Outside of Hemlane
Step 1: Select the Financials tab from the left-hand main menu.
Step 2: Click “Track Offline Transactions.”
Step 3: Click into the Extended Form and begin entering the relevant transaction information.
Step 4: Make sure to select the Recurring toggle so that it is active, then enter the relevant parameters such as frequency and start date.
Step 5: Add the recurring offline payment recording.
