With Hemlane’s bank integration, you can split a transaction into multiple transactions as needed, including designating a portion of the payment to two or more different properties. Follow the steps below to split a transaction.
To Split a Transaction
Step 1: Navigate to the Financials tab.
Step 2: Select the Transactions section along the top.
Step 3: Click into the transaction you wish to split.
Step 4: Within the transaction’s details, click Split in the lower left-hand corner.
Step 5: Select which property the new split will apply to. You can also update the category here if needed.
Step 6: Click Save to confirm your changes.
