After you have leased a property, there are a few things you will want to do. First, you will want to stop advertising your property. Second, you will want to archive any inquiries or applicants from your Prospective Tenants tab.
To remove and notify prospective tenants that a property is leased:
Step 1: Select the Prospective Tenants tab on the left-hand panel
Step 2: Filter for the property at the top of the page
Step 3: Click on the three dots in the top right corner under the section you want to bulk edit and select [Archive All] from the drop-down menu
Step 4: A pop-up window will appear and you will have the option to send a rejection notice to applicants, then click [Archive]
These prospective tenants (and their contact information) will still be listed in Hemlane under the Archived column and can always be retrieved if and whenever desired.
Please note *If prospective tenants are leads (inquired about the property or saw the property but never applied), then they don't receive an email. If prospective tenants are applicants, then they receive a standard notification that their application is no longer being considered (see below print screen) if you choose to notify them:
