The first step to approving qualified tenants in Hemlane is to pre-qualify prospective applicants. When tenants interact with your listing, they go through pre-qualification questions during the Prospective Tenants and Inquiries stage.

Here is what your prospective tenant will see when answering these questions:
How can I change these pre-qualification requirements?
Step 1: Select the Marketing tab on the left side main menu and click "Edit" on your listing.
Step 2: Select the Terms tab from the listing's quick links menu.
Step 3: Scroll down to the "Minimum Requirements" section, make your edits, and click the [Save & Next] button.
Please note: the question "Do you have pets?" will be automatically included.
How do I request the pre-qualification answers from my prospective tenant?
Your prospective tenants will automatically be asked the pre-qualification questions when they either click the [Ask A Question] button or schedule a showing on your Hemlane listing directly.
If your prospective tenant inquiry has not done either of these, then you will see a "-" under Credit Score, Income Ratio, and Has Pets within the Prospective Tenants tab.
