As a Hemlane-registered tenant, you’ll receive email notifications when it’s time to pay rent. You’ll also receive automated reminders as the due date approaches to help you stay on track.
In addition, your Dashboard and Payments tab (found on the left-hand menu) will show any upcoming or overdue charges for your lease—making the process simple and transparent.

Trouble Seeing Payments?
If you aren’t receiving emails to pay our rent and your Payments tab shows no transactions, it means your manager or landlord hasn’t enabled online payments yet.

Step-by-Step: Paying Rent Online
✅ Step 1: Add a Bank Account or Credit Card
Before making a payment, you'll need to link a bank account or credit card (if allowed by your manager).

✅ Step 2: Review and Make a Payment
Go to the Payments tab to see any outstanding charges. If the amount due is more than $0, then your lease group (you and any roommates) has a balance to pay.
To make a payment:

Click "View" next to the payment transaction

Click [Make Payment] in the upper right corner

Select your funding account and confirm the payment amount

Click [Confirm] to process the payment
You can also schedule a future payment (if not past due) by choosing a “Charge Later” date for automatic processing.
