If you need to update a unit name or modify your property description, for example changing the label from “House” to another type, you can do so directly in the Properties tab of your Hemlane account.
If a unit name is not specified, Hemlane will automatically default the property type to “House.” Updating the unit name ensures your property is displayed correctly in your account and on any associated listings.
To Change a Unit Name
Step 1: Click into the Properties tab on the left-hand main menu.
Step 2: Locate and select the property you would like to change.
Step 3: Click Manage units under the Units section.
Step 4: Change the name of any unit and click Save.
