While Hemlane can help you prepare your listing, Craigslist’s policy does not allow us to post to their website automatically. Hemlane makes it easy to post it yourself by following the steps below.
Step 1: Copy Your Existing Ad Into Craigslist
You can copy your ad, including its formatting, directly from Hemlane.
- Select the Marketing tab.
- Select the property.
- Select the Advertising tab.
- Scroll to the bottom to find the Craigslist code.
Next, visit Craigslist, click the “post to classifieds” link, and follow the posting steps. Paste the HTML code into the posting body section on Craigslist and your ad will look polished and professional. Don’t forget to confirm the location of your property and upload images to the ad.
Step 2: Add Craigslist Inquiries Into Hemlane
When you receive a qualified inquiry from Craigslist, you can add them to Hemlane for tracking, either as an inquiry or as an applicant if you want them to apply.
- Visit the Prospective Tenants tab.
- Select + Add Applicant.
