Hemlane sends notifications to prospective tenants regarding showings, applications, and other communications via email and text message. Keep in mind that text messages are only sent to applicants who have a registered Hemlane account. Prospective tenants are notified via email for the following reasons:
- When a prospective tenant inquires without scheduling a showing
- A reminder if a prospective tenant has not scheduled a showing or submitted an application
- When a prospective tenant is invited to a showing
- When a scheduled showing time is confirmed (+text notification)
- A reminder a few hours before the scheduled showing time (+text notification)
- A follow up after the showing has ended
- When they are invited to apply for the rental
- A reminder that they were invited to apply, if they have not yet registered
- When a screening has been requested from them to submit
- A reminder to complete the screening request if it is still incomplete
- When a message has been sent to them within Hemlane (+text notification)
- When the applicant is approved and accepted as a tenant
