Hemlane’s Allocate Rent Rule is designed to automatically disperse rent payments between two owners’ bank accounts or between a property manager’s and owner’s bank account. Follow the steps below to edit or delete an existing Allocate Rent Rule.
To Edit or Delete an Allocate Rent Rule
Step 1: Click into the Financials tab from the left-hand main panel.
Step 2: Select the Settings section from along the top.
Step 3: Click the pencil icon next to the address of the Allocate Rent Rule you would like to edit.
Step 4: Update the rule as needed, such as adjusting the rent split amount, or select “Click here if you would like to delete this rent Allocation” to remove it entirely.
