We’ve refreshed Hemlane’s filtering experience to make it more consistent and efficient—without changing what you already know and use. Everything you had before is still there (and in some cases, even better), but now with a streamlined property search and advanced Filters that appear the same way across all tabs. Whether you’re reviewing financial records, tracking prospective tenants, or managing maintenance requests, you’ll see a unified and easier way to find exactly what you need.

Properties
Filters for properties are now located in the top right, where you can search by Portfolio or Status.
Marketing
Filtering on the Marketing tab now allows you to quickly sort and review listings based on Portfolio, property address, and occupancy. This makes it easier to track which properties are currently Active, Vacant, or still is Occupied
Prospective Tenants
The Prospective Tenants tab now includes enhanced filters to help you identify the best applicants faster. You can narrow your view by Expected Move-In Date, Pet Status, and more advanced filter for both inquiries and applicants. These filters make it easier to focus on qualified prospects, track where each applicant is in the process, and follow up efficiently—all from one streamlined view.
Tenants & Leases
On the Tenants & Leases tab, you can now use filters to view active and past leases, as well as filter by property or tenant name. This provides a faster way to manage lease details without scrolling through your entire tenant list.
Financials
The Financials tab has received the most significant improvement with new, flexible filters designed to make payment tracking and reporting easier.
You can now filter by:
Date range – Review requests or transactions within a custom period
Transaction type – Rent payments, fees, deposits, refunds, and more
Status – Quickly identify pending, completed, or Incomplete requests
Portfolio – Review requests based on portfolios
Consolidated view - You can now see more transactions per page with a consolidated view of your Financials.
These updates make it easier to locate specific transactions, reconcile payouts, and get an at-a-glance view of your financial activity—all with fewer clicks.
Maintenance & Repair
The Maintenance & Repair tab now includes filters by status (open or completed), by Service Pro, and by property. This helps you manage requests efficiently and ensure no task slips through the cracks.
