As a tenant registered with Hemlane, you should expect to receive emails from Hemlane when you need to pay rent online. The system will also send reminders closer to the due date. Your Dashboard tab should also provide notifications on upcoming and late payments to make the process smoother for you.

If you do not receive an email and the Payments tab (left hand panel) has no transactions, then your management has not set up online payments.

Step 1: Set up your bank account
A bank account (or credit card if management accepts credit) is required in order to make payments. For step-by-step instructions on how to add in your bank account, please view our article "How do I add in a new bank account as a tenant?"
Step 2: Make a payment
Your Payments tab (on the left hand panel) will provide you with a list of transactions. If the DUE amount is not $0, then there is an outstanding balance due for your lease group (you or you and your roommates).
If the payment is not past due, you will be able to select a "Charge Later" date in the future to schedule a one-time automatic payment.
To make a payment online, please select the transaction from within your Payments tab by clicking "View" to the right of the payment, then:
Step 1: Click [Make Payment] in the upper right corner
Step 2: Confirm the funding account and amount that will be paid
Step 3: Click [Confirm] to start processing your payment
