Hemlane sends tenant screening reports directly to both the property manager and the applicant once the report is complete. We share the information with both parties for transparency.
If you notice any inaccurate information, please click here to view our article on how to dispute the results with the credit bureau and background check databases.
Reports Open in a Secure Pop-Up Window
Reports are displayed through a secure token pop-up window, which can sometimes be blocked by your browser settings. If you have trouble opening a report, try turning off your pop-up blocker. Here is how to do it in Chrome:
- Click the View Report button for the screening.
- Look to the right side of the URL bar at the top of your browser (where it shows www.hemlane.com). You should see an icon or message that says “Pop-up blocked.”
- Click the warning message and choose to allow pop-ups.
Report Expiration
If the pop-up is allowed and the report still will not open, it may have expired. Screening reports are only available for 30 days after they are generated, so we recommend downloading and saving your copy as soon as it is available.
