A rental or lease agreement typically expires after a set period of time, most commonly one year. Tenants who wish to stay will either continue on a month-to-month basis or sign a new lease agreement. When renewing, owners will often need to update lease terms such as start and end dates, rental price, and other details.
How to Update a Tenant’s Lease Terms
Step 1: Navigate to the Tenants and Leases tab.
Step 2: Click the name of the tenant or tenant group.
Step 3: Click Edit in the Lease Terms section under the Overview tab.
Step 4: Update the lease terms and click Save.
