When Does Hemlane Send Notifications to Tenants?

Hemlane sends notifications to tenants regarding payments, maintenance requests, and other communications via email and text message. Below is a breakdown of when tenants can expect to receive notifications.

Payment Notifications

• When a new payment transaction has been created

• When a new recurring payment request has been created

• When a payment is due: 5 days before the due date and 1 day before the due date

• When a payment is late: 1 day after the due date and every Monday following until the balance is paid

• When a payment transaction has been initiated

Maintenance Notifications

• When a maintenance request has been submitted by the tenant

• When a tenant is added to a maintenance request (also sent via text)

• When a maintenance request has been updated (also sent via text)

General Communications

• When a message has been sent to them within Hemlane (also sent via text)

• When a reminder is sent or auto-generated for lease signing requirements through E-Sign
